Terms of Use

Effective date: 2026-06-14

Safety first — read this

Never operate Staged while driving a vehicle. If you use roll-on mode in a vehicle, the device must be operated by a passenger only, never the driver.

1. Acceptance and beta status

By installing or using Staged (“the app”) you agree to these terms. The app is currently distributed as beta software through Apple TestFlight: features may change, break, or be removed at any time, and availability is not guaranteed.

2. Eligibility

If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the app only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and only as a passenger or spectator when any vehicle is involved.

3. License

You are granted a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, subject to Apple’s standard terms for apps distributed through TestFlight and the App Store.

4. Intellectual property

The app, the Staged name, the light-tree mark, and all content and code are owned by the developer. These terms grant you no rights to use them outside the app.

5. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Reaction times, clock synchronization, and GPS speed readings are best-effort measurements provided for entertainment — no guarantee is made of their accuracy or fitness for competitive, commercial, or official timing purposes.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including — for the avoidance of any doubt — any damages, injuries, fines, or losses connected to the use of vehicles.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia.

8. Changes

Updated terms will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
